Hometown: West Caldwell, NJ
Position: Counselor for the Duper Girls
Favorite Activities: Drama games and directing the Lion King!
When not at camp: I want to be an english teacher, so I'm currently majoring in english at Rutgers University. In my free time I'm mostly found reading or writing somewhere.
If you could read one book for the rest of your life what would
it be and why? I would read a book
called Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. It's about a dystopian socity
and it's really cool because with every read you learn something new
about the story.
What made you want to work at camp and what has been your favorite part so far? Well first off, my neighbors actually went to camp here (they're both on staff this year!) and told me how much fun their time at CK has been. Along with that, I want to work with kids when I'm older so this seemed like the perfect oppurtunity to get some experience. So far, everything and everyone has exceeded my expectations. I was super excited to meet all of the campers and to start my first year at Campus Kids, and that excitement continues to grow everyday! My bunk group is awesome, the girls are extremely smart and also love to have fun.
If you could have any super power what would it be?
It would have to be the ability to switch
minds with another person. I think it would be super cool to be able to
directly see other people's perspectives. I always try to see other
people's points of view, but to actually be able to in tricky situations
would be really beneficial.
